My Little Pony Carousel Cake

This is a four flavored tiered cake with a Wilton Carousel Kit. Strawberry, Lemon, Orange, and White(colored green) for a rainbow effect. The pony's are My Little Pony knock-offs from a Dollar Store. The canopy of the Carousel is a Chocolate Cake. The Rainbow in the middle of the horses is Red Velvet Cake. Cake is iced in Butter Cream. Decorations on the Canopy are Butter Cream.

Please help..I would love to make a cake like this for my niece. All of the ones I have seen have the ponies next to the poles but yours look real with the ponies ON them. How did you accomplish this look? It is beautiful!

I actually cut a hole in the ponies. Make the hole small so they will be tight when you put the plastic rod through them.
